Cycled down BW to get to this trig. First time in a while i have been off road. Left bike by steps that start the FP. It goes over about 5 fences and across 4 fields, each with a different kind of animal in it. Trig it in field with horses and cows. Went back hove via Tewksbury and got myself an ice-cream. Not a bad way to finish of a day.

I parked by the farm buildings and followed the footpath through a couple of paddocks and then the wheat to the treeline, where it is a short uphill walk over a stile and through a gate. Trig looks in good condition to me, I have seen much worse.

Nice little hill. Parked on wide grass verge near Chaceley Hall, an interesting looking Grade II* listed Tudor house. Approached from the W on a little used RoW. No public RoW to hill top, but stiles indicate it's frequented by the unwashed. Pillar found with some frost damage to top surface - screed and some concrete missing exposing one spider arm. Original cap in place, lightly indented lettering; rear sight hole open. Panoramic 360deg views to Malvern and Cotswold hills.

Was able to park in the lane nearby on a grass verge and took the path from the West which although well signposted has become very overgrown especially after leaving the field to climb up the hill through the newly planted woodland. Got stung by nettles.

Views keep getting better. but the footpath from the west is technically obstructed. That said when I short circuited it back to the road by passing theough the lane between the buildings there was no comment. Can see where the nettles are but it was winter :-) Finished off by the farmer asking me if I was lost as I worked out where the next leg of the route would take me

There was all the paraphenalia for clay pigeon shooting set up at the top of the hill just south of the trig but they must have been havind a day off. Plug with indented lettering.

Well Summer is juat about here, and the ascent meant a slog through wet long grass, soon be harvested. Relieved to see the close cropped pasture at the hill top. Would have been furious if a hay crop stopped the brief deviation to have a close look. Peril of the season, just dipped out on a nearby pillar for this reason. Good shape. no views due to haze.

Easy one this, just yards off a public path in the middle of a pasture field on top of a large knoll - it's well named! All intact including the central plug. The top appears to have been re-skimmed at some time and there is minimal cracking to this repair. Otherwise condition is fine. Spectacular views northwest to Malvern, south to Severn Estuary and eastwards to Bredon and Cotswolds - although the view in summer would probably be hampered by foliage on some nearby trees. Good spot!
