To Cheltenham for mother's birthday, so an opportunity for a quick trig bag with the Old Man, Sis#2 and Sis#3 during her nap. Trig had its own police guard - badger cull ops - not sure which party enlivened the other's afternoon more! Overcast but good views to Gloucester, Cheltenham, the Cotswolds and R Severn. Some render lost from top, centre and N s/hole open, otherwise good condition.

Great views of Cheltenham,Gloucester & Cotswolds to the south & east and to the Malverns,May Hill,Herefordshire & Black Mountains west & north.Continued along bridleway to farm where i turned right to rejoin the Severn Way for a circular walk back along the river bank & through woods. Very enjoyable.

A lovely spot, with the clearing air revealing May Hill and the drop to the Severn. The field is newly cultivated and being rolled, such a change from the tall winter crops. Very pleasant path up from Norton. Pillar is chipped, missing its plug. Its next to an old ash and by a seat. Great stuff
