A quick walk up the muddy bank to this one. This was probably a super spot about 500 years ago and then somebody built loads of houses nearby. Shame about the rubbish and broken bottles around about. Checked I still had 4 wheels on my car before quickly departing.

Log #230. Probably the best urban trig I've visited so far. Dropped the car off at the end of Saucel Hill Terrace (and hid my valuables and electronics), hopped through the gap in the fence and up to the trig. The grass was very wet, so I had a bit of a hard job getting up there in my trainers. The graffiti and missing cap are to be expected, and there is a crack and a number of dings and chips out of the top corners. Not as badly damaged as I was expecting though. Great views, but the rain and impending darkness limited them a bit. I ended up sliding down the hill on my bum, which is to be expected really. [ExP-178/MiP-9/Rev-2/BM-13/IS-22/Other-6]

Got to this Trig by train from Glasgow Central Station to the end of the line Paisley Canal St, on a sunny but cold day. Took the path to the left of the station platform and followed it straight up to Saucel Hill. Trig is in not too bad of a condition considering urban location. Flush bracket has had a make over. Extra point for terrific 360 views. Hurlethill, Bathgo Hill trigs visible. Also amazing views of the snow capped Trossachs, Campsiies, Gleniffer Braes, Paisley Abbey and The Wellington pub . . . Ahem ! !
