Previous mearurements spot on. A quick scrape with the trowel and there it was. Definitely a favourite dog walking area beside the race course. The bench is back.

Completely covered up with turf so took a few moments find even with a photo. Id have said it hadnt been visited for a long time although theres a log for March. Got some puzzled looks from a chap parked in a car in the layby as the walking stick prodder, gps, then trowel came out (see also Latestarters log..) Nice views down towards Williestruther Loch. Need to mind where you put your feet - its obviously a popular location for walking dogs. Low score for the unpleasant amount of dog fouling around the Berntsen on this visit.

It took a lot of digging around to find this berntsen. We were watched closely by a man parked in the layby who was having a quiet cigarette and pretending to read his paper...bet he checked out the berntsen after we left! Lovely views.

Roxburghshire. Despite the photographs, this took a while to uncover with the trowel.

Easy one, because of all the stuff. Not well hidden, obviously recently visited. Just by the racecourse/community gallops. Yes this is the horse mad Borders.
