After packing up a very wet tent at the Burravoe Marina campsite, I got my wife to drop me off at Gloup for a day of Trigpointing. Followed the track up to the pillar.

With Jenny, Rick and Tricky. Lovely spot, the Gloup waters shallow and clear. Parked at Kirks and walked to the sad memorial to 50+ sailors who lost their lives in a storm in 1880's 30 miles off the coast of Shetland, rowing boats! Continued on track to trig on rough moorland. Looks a P27 hill.

The views from the trig were excellent with much of Unst and also Mainland to see. I was on quite a high knowing that I was now getting very close to the most northerly point in the British Isles. I descended across the rough moor onto the track lying to the northeast. I then followed the road for several miles to catch the Bluemull Sound ferry.
