Last visit 10 years ago. Summit shelter cairn full of snow, possible evidence of cement rubble in surrounding stone work. Did not dig down to pillar base to check for FB. is it still there, will check next time. Ascent via Sgurr Choinnich then onto Maoile Lunndaidh, fortunatly stopping in Gleniaig Lodge so the walk not as long as it could be. Visibility very poor at start of day, clear sunny periods at the end. A good day out and would much prefer to be here than in London were my usual assistant formally logged some interception points that we had seen before.

Walked from Craig via Bealach Bhearnais and Sgurr Choinnich. Good views but not much left of trig. Returned via Bidean an Eoin Deirg but left it too late to bag Maoile Lunndaidh.

My Munro #181 climbed alone. Parked at Craig and walked to the Bealach Bhearnais (I recall getting a lift for some of the way in the back of an obliging estate workers Defender) and set u camp for the evening, intending to bag the 4 nearby Munros the following day, however it was so light I realised I had time to bag Sgurr Choinnich and Sgurr A Chaorachain before it got dark, so set off up Sgurr Choinnich about 7pm. The cloud got progressively swirly round the tops throughout the evening, but this was a fantastically remote and inspirational place. Fantastic sunset on the return - woke up next morning to dense fog and abandoned any thoughts of striking out for Lurg Mhor, retreated rather despondently back to Craig. No lift back either :-(
