We finished our round with a very easy pillar. We parked up outside the pub, where the pillar is clearly visible from, nipped up the road and along the short bit of ROW between two houses. The pillar is tucked in on the footpath by the fence. It's leaning and looking a bit scruffy now, but top marks to Michael (Slateloose) and the farmer/landowner for saving this one, and all the metalwork has survived - well done. My little trigbagger visited this one with mummy a long time ago, so this was actually her 44th. All done and dusted and back to the car inside 5 minutes.

This is the nearest trig point to my home. The condition has now changed from moved to moved / good. After reading recent logs a friend of mine spoke to the farmer and we arranged to meet up with him, he was very keen to replace the trig point. I suggested a spot near to the public footpath to give easy access to anyone logging the trig. Its wasn't possible to place it back in or near its original location but at least its back up standing in a location for people to see and visit. So this morning with help of the farmer the three of us resited the trig in its new location (SE3901318546) which adjacent to the footpath from Weeland road east through the farm with the com's mast.We are also hoping to repaint it in the next couple of weeks.

Later the tree was badly damaged in a storm and disturbed the pillar, so both were removed.
