The score is left at 5 because the rain was coming down in stair rods and visibility was down to 50 yards or so. The damage is slight, a piece of concrete missing off one corner. I have taken up the circular artifact on the ground adjacent to the column with Ord.Surv. They say definitely it is not one of their marks. The RICS know nothing of the mark, so there you are. Any ideas anyone?
