About 20 mins walk from the road.Very peacefull up here. Some people had cut the farmers B/W fence or pot sticks in to force a gap to gain access.I was happy to see it from the fence.

Approached from E, probably better to use FP to W as nearer the trig. In field of maturing cereal crop, found some tractor lines, at least out of view from farm houses, road etc for most of the way. Pillar in good condition; cap missing, asphalt plug; sight holes undetermined as below ground level. Extensive 360deg views.

Wasn't expecting to come across a trig point whilst doing a nearby circuit of caches so this find makes up for the two DNFs in caches. Didn't venture right up to the trig as I wasn't sure I was allowed.

A roughly circular walk from Timsbury through the rain-soaked land, with more threatening, but it's always worth a soaking to be out & about, especially if a trigpoint is part of the fun.
