Found with some difficult after using measurements from a previous logger! It is 5.25m SE of a gulley crate, also 0.8m from wall and 1.3m from road edge. GPS had it near enough spot on. Had a light covering of vegetation; dug it clear and left uncovered. OS sketch not currently available.

This appears to be covered over again. I was unable to locate the bolt in the wall to start with, and after repeated efforts probing for the trig with a pointy stick had to give up my search as a lost cause. All of this left me needing to rush back to town to catch the 1001 train to Carnforth with just a few minutes to spare.

Not that hard to find using previous logs.Had to use my best 'Ground Force' technique,stomping down & clearing some serious vegitation,but Berntsen is now visible.I made it 9 paces from gate post,1 metre from wall,but 9 or 10 paces will get you in the right area.I have left a bolt in the stone wall as a marker.

Finally! Found it on my 4th attempt,really well covered by grass. As previous logs state,roughly 10 paces back from the green gate(4th on the left approaching from the cattle market end of Grab lane). Should be easy enough to find now as i cleared a good area around it.

Finding this plate was soley down to the photos of PYoung1s and DaveS and the description of MacHawk. Thanks guys! I was intriged by the write up about this and had to go and have a look - never knew such things existed!

Found after a good root about, stick is still in wall, you will need to clear the vegetation away a bit.

As the next vistor after DaveS I can confirm that the plate is still very visible. Had to knock off a load of leaves. I came along Grab Lane from the Cattle Market end (south) and the plate is roughly 10 paces before you reach the fourth gate on the left (currently painted green). Pyoungs1 photo was a good help as it helped to identify the wall stones - I often find it useful to carry a print out of the odd photo of these/bolts/rivets for reference on the day as their exact location can sometimes be hard to find

Knew the general area of the trig and found by only using the photos. Undergrowth withering away so quite easy to spot.

Tricky. I would not have found it without Bonatti's photo. However, it was made more difficult by the fact the relevant stones were behind some newly grown rose bay willow herb. Having identified the right bit of road, it was clear, and nearer the road than I was looking.

I got close using the GPS then used Bonatti's very good photo and worked it out from the shape of the stones on top of the wall. Buried under dead undergrowth but not under any soil.
