Circular walk from near Crosby, lovely clear day. Looks like the trig has been replaced as there is an old broken base nearby.

Loved this one, followed the track all the way until the fork then headed straight up the saddle to the trig. Came back a more direct route via the heather slope. Some gorse to negotiate but not too bad. Fantastic views from the top.

Parked at end of road but not sure it really was a road or if we should have been up this far. Nice walk along, following new geocaches, then took a left at the fork in the track. a wee bit further then took another track to left and straight to summit and trig. Lovely views on a great day. Took the direct approach back down through heather and then gorse. Great fun.

vgc, asphalt plug, by large cairn reminiscent of Freoaghane. Nice summit, great viewpoint for main Manx hills. From S, parked at Ballaharry but could have parked closer - at track junction or maybe higher up. My last of the set, too. Great weekend - a view from every summit, although I left Ruy till late morning while the overnight clouds lifted.

Yet another wonderful view on this fantastic island. It was a real grotty start to the day, very low cloud held over the top, but as we climbed we were lucky it gradually receded. Started & finished in Crosby. There's an obvious trail leading north along the lower eastern flank of the hill and it's tempting to veer west to the trig as soon as you reach the public ramblage area but if you follow the track for half a mile and turn left at the marked signpost, up briefly heading towards Lhargee Ruy you'll see an obvious path heading to the trig and thereafter across to Greeba Mountain which has very good views of the southern end of the island. No cars, on foot!

Decided to ascend Sileau Ruy's 6 mile diversion whilst walking the Heritage Trail from Douglas to Peel. Steep climb in places and exceptionally windy but rewarded with a cracking view of the coast on both sides, and Snaefell in the distance, as the clouds parted just for us. Moderate-sized quartz cairn on top provided welcome shelter! Trig point in good condition and a welcome sight after a traipse through heather.
