A joint visit with Carole. We parked on the road to the north and used the footpath to a hedge corner then turned west on an obvious dog walkers path to the pillar in the corner. It is vertical with its foundations starting at ground level. The flush bracket has been removed - would this be a de-commissioning process as there is no current map indication of a pillar been at this locality? Also taken is the whole spider. At least it is still visitable. From details provided on the trigonomy site I think that the FB number was S4745.

Found after reading other trigpointers. It stands in hedgerow in field corner and was hidden by brambles etc.Ispent some time clearing this mess as i wanted to confirm the condition of FB.After being torn to shreds by thorns Pillar was exposed. It has been totally vandelised and it is obvious the FB was ripped off so the pillar is in a sorry state.Access is easy just off footpath ,on arriving back at stile onto road 2mins i turned to look back to see that the pillar is now visible from here due to my over enthusiastic effort. My face and hands needed a little 1st aid due to thorns and bramble.

Picked the existence of this one up from the website. It was very difficult to spot even with info from website, deep in hedge in field corner, major surgery would be required for a close approach.

I knew this had been moved but hadn't read previous logs very closely and naively assumed it would be easy to find in the field. How wrong I was. It took me half an hour - map only - to find it, having walked right by it several times. Buried in hedgerow at corner of muddy rape field. FB and other metalwork removed. Cloaked in vegetation.

Can't work out why this one was moved because it's original standing place must have been in or very close to the hedge. Anyway, it's still there - just moved about 25 meters and easy to get to at this time of year - note my recording of the new grid reference.
