Parked (considerately) at the foot of the track SW of the Trig field, and followed the track up to the fort and then across to the pillar. There was a farmer around in a tractor, and livestock in the Trig field so we were as unobtrusive as possible, and kept our visit brief. Would be a lovely spot on a warmer day!

Our 3rd and final trig of the day. Another wow factor in terms of views. Parked next to quarry. An easy walk to summit. Trig commands great views to surrounding similar summits. Pillar located within a hillfort. We spent ages up here exploring the ramparts. The great weather conditions and view opportunities must push this to a high score.
