Passed more dog walking vans to get to this trig. Seems to a very popular place for them. Easy climb up to trig and it has nice views all around. Saw pigs running free in the road on the way back to car. This will be last big trig hunting cycle this year because of knee and shorter days. Might try and mop up one or two that have escaped me, but otherwise they will have to wait until next season.

Stunning views. Lovely spot, a short steep climb up from the road, lots of ponies and donkeys running around.

Another easy access trig. Copious parking on a wide roadside verge with a 250m walk across Furzely Common to the trig. More New Forest ponies, again friendly (always looking for a handout). Need to pick a way between the oversized gorse bushes and the horses do-do's underfoot. Pillar is located on a mound giving good, but not extensive, views all round. It is in generally good condition, with some chipping to the top edges/corners; 1 sight hole open, the others sealed; cap missing and no plug. Perhaps should be dongraded to 'slightly damaged'? Plinth is becoming exposed.
