No trig pillar. Like the nearby missing buried block the destruction may have been related to construction of A27 and associated road works.

TP6160 Trig pillar would have been in this approximate area.

OS records destroyed June 1964. Pillar was on S side of what is now a minor road running parallel to A27 and on the N side. It may have been lost to the A27 cutting.

Closest sensible approach to putting feet on original site is from the bridge - that is closer than the dual carriageway 30 feet below.

The grid reference for this trigpoint puts it slap bang in the middle of a busy slip road, just off the A27 trunk road. The strange this is that there seems to have been a road at this location for many years, at least as far back as the 1940's. However, there is no trace of a trigpoint here or in the locality.
