Intact and in good condition. Bagging circuit from Lettermay after a hard pech up Beinn Lochain. The summit is a sharp one, left behind after some exciting looking slope failure. This has to be one of the best areas to see post glacial landslides.

Pillar vgc, metal cap (damaged) with wide raised letters. From NE, NN191050, forest road to 182038 (could have followed it further) then grassy ascent in impressive surroundings (skirting the SubMarilyn which I had been up before). Fine ascent, fine summit, fine view.

Pillar in good condition. Spider retains original OS cap with larger narrow raised and weathered lettering. RHS sighting hole open, others plugged. FB faces WNW ~317. Pillar completed 22nd June 1956, cost 73.11s.6d. Tertiary station in Block NS29, Greenock. Fantastic 360 panorama, but worth the long haul over steep sloping pathless terrain. Photographed 2/05/2007, GRP.
