Paid a visit to this former trig location as its the nearest site to where I live. No sign of any trig but the area has had a spruce up in recent years. All nice and tidy and no air of menace. Lots of retirement bungalows and flats. Not bad views over the city.

About 20m as the crow flies from where my Gran lived on Robertsbridge Walk. Good views over the city if you walk round to the front of Robertsbridge Walk.

My GPS was talling me it used to be on a communal grassy area on Shelford Walk at the back of Canonsleigh Rd. The sun was out and I thought the area looked OK myself - there seemed to be quite a community atmosphere about the place.

In the middle of a housing estate. Lots of dumped fridges and fly tipping but no sign of pillar. Looked in gardens (lots of funny looks)and around disused railway but nothing! Really grotty area, didn't feel comfortable here at all. Suspect diasappeared with building of houses.
