From memory this wasn't as easy as we thought it would be but we found it in the end. Still under 'yellow' stone.

Good dirt parking on either side of field entrance on wide verge. No OS sketch, but good measurements in previous logs enabled me to find this easily. Paced out 12m from the LHD gatepost, found the yellow stone beneath some dried grass and hey presto, sitting next to it was the Berntsen. Placed the yellow stone on top of it when I left.

I spent about 20 minutes searching for this one before finally finding it. It was and is still under a lump of sandstone, further north than I thought it was going to be. It is 12 good paces from the gate post and about a meter from the hedge. So excited was I that I left my trowel there. Correction, I left my wifes trowel there. Must get down to B&Q before she realises.

Bumped into Pyoung1's at the Cotswold CacheBash and, when he had texted to say that he had found it with his metal detector, paid a second visit [actually a third!] - and there it was, conveniently hidden underneath a plastic flower pot. Many thanks to Pyoung1's for helping me to lay a ghost.

Found the location easily enough thanks to fasgadh's photo - but spent over half an hour fruitlessly searching the grass verge without locating it. Incidentally, the cabbages are cauliflowers and the farmer has let sheep graze all over them rather than harvest them, which may say something about the common agricultural policy...... Anyway, a blue nasty that came...well,... out of the blue!
