2 of 2 trigs on a circular. This trig is hidden in the brush, so no views at all. See the pics. On the path at the point where the trig should be, don't go over the style. Instead, follow a faint path to the right to the trig. It's an easy bag off Wettenhall Road. Plug missing and filled.

Access from Wettenhall Rd - verge parking and took the PRoW across the field to the style and then headed N into the small wooded area. A little overgrow and zero visibility from this one. Plug removed and filled. With Nozzer

2 of 3 on trig hunt after visit to Hack Green bunker. Trig is in extended woodland, access will get increasingly difficult over the years. I took the FP W from the Winsford road, in to the wood then turned R for 50m following a raised edge of ground making my way to the W side of the woodland. Trig is on the left, with no distant views, only the tall crop of corn in the adjacent field. Good luck to all future hunters. On to W end trig.

Parked in a pull-in a couple of hundred yards up from the start of the footpath. Across a cow-occupied field and up into the small woodland, which now extends further than the OS map shows. Trig at far end of woodland, good path leads all the way to it. No views.

Parked as previous visitors and followed the PROW. My Landranger shows the pillar outside of the plantation but it is well within the trees. Well used path up to the pillar.

Parked in layby and walked back to the FP. Through a field full of cows (lots of poo) and over a stile and into a copse. Go straight on to the end of the tree's and turn right. Trig easy to find.

Quite a random feat of timing that on arrival I bumped into a large group of ramblers who had also come to see this very nondescript pillar. A long and slightly tedious day out having come all the way over here from North Wales by bus.

On our approach to the first stile we thought this was going to be quite challenging, but once beyond it was plane sailing. The pillar was just a short walk from the PF, in light woodland.

Great walk out with Dad, we took in a circular walk, not that easy to find as it sits along the hedgerow, i would think in mid summer you would have real difficulty getting to it,

Parked by the footpath access to the east of the trig for a short walk through a field of frisky cows. Not the most scenic of locations hidden just in the trees. It's fairly easy to spot and reach at this time of year though.

Plug replaced, rear sighting hole open. Minor detour off very muddy footpath; trig well hidden, even in December. Wallabies in a paddock at Rease Heath College.

Parked right by footpath (east of trig). Across field and first stile, into wooded area. Just before you cross the second stile, turn right and follow hedge for 50 yards or so. Will be tricky in the summer due to undergrowth. I know this for fact as this is my second visit. If approaching from the west, the concrete farm road will provide no access.

Easily reached by following footpath westwards from lane. Trig point cannot be seen from path but lies within and on western edge of plantation and hidden by large bramble bush to south of it.

On the way to Leigh RMI v Hereford United, we won 1-0.. Pillar is no longer in a field, but some new woodland planting next to a lot of recent earthworks. Very overgrown
