Visited to record FB number. The pillar was completed 12th July 1949 costing 15.15s.0d. In 1951 this marker was computed for triangulation as tertiary station SD96/T45 in the Skipton secondary block. Flush bracket S5623 was levelled for height also in 1951. This trig point was last maintained by the OS in June 1976. Nearly missed this one, my outdated Outdoor Leisure map has the trig symbols in black. Another one set amongst limestone crags.
