Parked at the entrance to the field which has been harvested. Up the field boundary to TP Lovely view looking over the Berwickshire landscape.

Parked in an open field entrance and walked the wide field boundary direct to pillar. Situated on NW side of fence line it retains a fair flush of white paint. Spider intact. One of the field boundaries does not correspond to OS map 1:25000.

A nice easy walk up the wide field margin from a handy gateway on the minor road to the east. Retains a lot of white from its last painting. Great views.

There is a lot of wheat around here. The sound of the combine harvesters will soon be heard. Trig point easily accessible as it is in a hedge / fence line with wide field boundary.

Handy parking spot at the open field gate on the minor road to the east. Easy walk through the recently harvested field to the pillar in the hedgerow at the crown of the hill. Views limited due to rain and mist.

Pillar located on SE edge of arable field, in good condition. Spider retains original centre with deep indented lettering. LHS sight hole open, others plugged. FB faces NW ~318 across field. Secondary station in Block NT72, Jedburgh. Completed 4th March 1953. Panorama includes Cheviot, Rubers Law, Peniel Heugh, Eildon Mid Hill, Sweethope Hill. Parked roadside at NT816456. Skirted round fields which have generous cut grass strips around them. First visited 1986. Revisited and photographed 25/09/2007, GRP.

First visit. To record FB number. The pillar was completed 4th March 1953 costing 17.11s.0d. In 1957 this marker was computed for height as secondary station NT72/30 in the Jedburgh block. The flush bracket was levelled for height in 1970. This trig point was last maintained by the OS in November 1986.
