3/7. Parked at roadside car park and walked up along clearly marked path. Trig sits within a cairn. Slightly cracked but overall good condition with spider and FB intact. Views of Carreg Cennan Castle are amazing.

Nice half hour stroll up from sw parking area. Choking on the smell of fires in the area which I could see from Gareg Lwyd Saturday so not as much fresh air as I'd of liked haha. View to Carreg Cennen Castle.

Nice spot up from the mountain road and across the start of the Black Mountain. Trig has a number of cracks running through it and a couple of chips off two edges but is still in one main piece. Lots of large cairns lead off westward across mountain but wet underfoot and we had hail too! No plug at top spider intact.

Parked in small car park @ sn6700116104 then followed track to carn at top of Hill. Trig pillar is just behind. Pillar has several cracks and plug is missing also chunk out of top. Pillar adopted by Ammanford walking club in 1994. think they must have disbanded as pillar in not in a good state

From minor road to NW. Rough ground, boggy in places; 200m of ascent. Pillar is in a poor state with numerous substantial fractures on all sides and top edges and corners damaged. Top cap has been lost and it has no plug; rear sight hole open. Misty panoramic views.

Parked in small car park (with deep puddles!) NW of the 307 spot height. From there a boggy path heads straight for the prominent cairn. The trig is just beyond. Good view.

Visited on a very cold misty day. There are cracks to the pillar and the white paint is very poorly applied. Even the plate has a sloppy unnecessary coat of paint, it even partially covers the adoption plaque. Disappointing to see an adopted pillar treated this way.

Walked up as per Lifeson_Times. Walked on to Carn Pen-rhiw-Ddu near high point of A4069 and back. Great views all the way. Didn't see another soul. Bliss!

Pleasant location, good views. Short walk from the SW.Pillar has slight damage to top corners and some minor cracks but nothing too serious.

Only 2 miles from home, my nearest trig. Looking in a poor way. Chip off corner and fracture lines crossing all sides. This peak is known locally as "The Turcan", which is a colloquialism of "Tair Cairn".

Condition unchanged in the last 18 months. Key to the trig is the 307m spot height on the 25k map. From there a small parking area exists to the S and a track heads for about 1.5km direct to the summit making it one of the easier trigs in the area.
