Very easy roadside trig. Painted white with the Welsh dragon on it, a great trig with a plaque to commemorate Queen Elizabeth as well.

Revisit today on a day of BM'ing and trigging in the area, FB golden and shining in the sun. First visit 4/8/21 Clean, well painted trig with red dragon and plaque dedicated to the lighting of beacons to celebrate Queen. Top portions to right chipped off but Flush Bracket, Spider and Plug/cap in place.

Slightly damaged, easy to visit as located at the side of the road with parking opposite, great views over the Vale of Glamorgan to the Bristol Channel, the top left hand side is slightly damaged but this pillar is brightly painted white and decorated with a red dragon and plaque commemorating the lighting of beacons for various Royal occasions, the spider is complete with centre plug intact but all sight the holes are blocked.

Easy bag, next to the road with parking space. Top slightly damaged but FB, Spider and Plug all intact. Now also carries a plaque commemorating the beacons lit for the Queen in 2002, 2012 and 2016

Located in hedge at side of road. Painted white. Easy access. Contains plaque commemorating beacons lit near-by for key dates in Queen Elizabeth's II reign. Found on geocaching trip. Views limited at trig due to hedges.

I saw this one pop is as a YOSM geocache today and remembered that I had not yet visited it even though it is fairly local to me now I have moved to Cardiff. I worked it into a nice afternoons trigpointing. A nicely presented roadside trigpoint.

Located roadside on a banked field boundary. Exposed plinth; reasonable coat of white paint. Damaged top, most likey from a hedge flailer, yet retains original cap with lightly indented lettering, but only 1 loop and that's bent over. Rear sight hole not determined, other 3 sealed. Plaque on front face above FB. 360deg views.

Somewhat obscured in road side hedge. Still foggy so little to see of surroundings. Done on ride from Cardiff to Llanelli to visit friends.

The pillar sits inside a brambly roadside hedge on the summit of a low hill to the south of Bridgend. It has FB S2300 and the spider is plugged by a metal cap with shallow lettering. Looking over the hedge rolling farmland of South Glamorgan could be seen with the faint outline of the hills of Exmoor on the distant horizon. A nearby gateway on the opposite side of the road allows a view over Bridgend to the mountains of Mid Glamorgan.
