Like others I searched the expected location of the berntsen with no success. Got plenty of funny looks though from the locals when I was probing the ground with a screwdriver. Expected location is next to a road/path that seems newer than the other roads and paths in the park. Maybe the construction of this road/path caused the destruction of the berntsen?

TP0632 Berntsen should be located between the trees near to the road/path.

Car park at S end of Crossborough Hill, past the school with the FBM, and within 20m of the berntsen location. Prodded around but almost zero hope of finding it, if it remains extant, without a diagram.

Go with the flow here - certainly no sign - it looks like it was between where the two small trees are now.
