Was really motoring on my way back to the station after Ben Reoch, Beinn Bhreac and Tullich Hill. Not much time to admire what would have been a fantastic view if another spell of rain hadn't been rolling in....

Pillar in good condition. Spider retains original OS cap with large narrow weathered lettering. Front sighting hole plugged, others open. Flush bracket faces 5, north. Tertiary station NS29/T83. Completed 12th August 1956. Easy access from Arrochar. Views to Cruach Tairbeirt, Ben More, Invergroin, Beinn Reithe, The Brack, Ben Donich, The Cobbler, Beinn Narnain. Photographed 5/04/2008, GRP.
