Nothing really to add to previous visit reports other than to confirm that it is still there and in good condition. Seemed pretty upright to me too.

Fabulous views. Having now read previous logs, the pillar did not seem to be leaning much to me. Ground looks different from previous photos too--has it been straightened? Also, a mini pillar has now appeared near the trig. It does not seem to be in any previous photos. It has a central metal pipe showing at the top of it.

Parked beside an old builder's yard, up the lane, over a farm-gate and onwards & upwards, to find the 'Leaning Pillar of Lockerbie' surrounded by contented sheep. A fine place to get some exercise & fresh air on my long drive from Southampton to Perthshire.

Approached from easterly direction along a farm track. Met two of the farmers on a quad bike at the gate who were very happy to let me walk up to the summit even though there were cattle grazing nearby with their young. Grassy summit with bare earth round the pillar. Since the last logged visit this pillar has developed a pronounced lean to the west and shall henceforth be known as The Leaning Pillar of Lockerbie! Has it had a meeting with a cow using it as a scratching post? It has also been the victim of some scratched graffiti. FB faces E, W sighthole plugged, all others open. Original top with sunken letters, covered in bird poo. Position logged from GPS device accurate to 5m.

Hill above Lockerbie, easily accessed through a path across the golf course and up through runnable woodland. Intact, but top hidden under stones that were obviously used as a bird perch. The plug was painted blue, probably with sheep marker.
