My second visit, as previously parked in the wide field entrance on the A68 and a couple of minutes saunter up the field edge. Amused to find myself unintentionally following in the footsteps of my good friend Sealf4 again, most Munro trig points on this site have my log shortly after Rowans! This easiest of Trig Points offers a great view of our next TP destination, a revisit to the Eildons (via a quick visit to the wonderful Tempest Brewery at Tweedbank to pick up a substantial quantity of their outstanding beers, an absolute must-do for anyone with a taste for superb craft beer).

2nd of 3 trig points today. After lunch at the Buccleuch Arms Hotel, walked up a very busy A68, before crossing to the track up to the TP which I almost missed but the gap in the hedge drew me to the view to the Eildon Hills. Apart from crossing the road this was a very easy trig to approach. I note that there is a category for scoring for interest etc on the web site. Having visited two trigs earlier this week which were difficult to access perhaps we need another category for ease of access! I extended my walk by walking down to the River Tweed through St Boswell's.
