First pillar in my 'Penzance Pot'...Lay-by parked at GR 603 428 & having crossed the road & 'paid-visit' to the headland overlooking Hell's Mouth, proceeded along the coastal path up onto the trig. Reversing the route part way back, took a right into North Cliffs car park & followed the road back to a well deserved ice cream. Driving to Wheal Alfred Road with parking in the 'fanned-out' entrance of Trethingey Farm GR 577 366, followed the track South but a short way to 'bag' a second easy trig, located to the left on a raised pedestal & embankment. Castle-an-Dinas & dreadingly, having read other 'baggers blogs' Trink Hill tomorrow!

Easy access from the parking spot to the East. There are great views of the coast, and the trig is made of local stone and has a National Trust plaque - my kind of trig! Plug missing.

Easy to locate and access. Clad in granite stone but FB still visible. Great views, great location - as with so many pillars along this coast. Visited while walking the SW Coast Path.

Second log this week on our walk from Newquay to St Ives. Great view along the Cornish coast. This one has had the National Trust badge on it as well.

Again, visited long before I discovered this site. A wonderful location. Quite like these stone clad pillars - don't do it to your house though!
