Couldn't spot anywhere safe to park. So Gill dropped me off in the gateway at N53° 03.454' W1° 26.867'. Then over two iron gates , trig found in hedge on the right.You’ll get shredded if you want to hug this one, I did! Very overgrown at the moment and lots of brambles and nettles.

Managed to park at the bate on the narrow verge as I didn't fancy the walk along the busy road. Nestled into the hawthorn hedge a short distance from the road, two gates to hop.

Risked death walking along busy lane, over the gate, then over the gate on the right, and acroos the corner of the pasture to find the pillar well exposed in hedge-line.

5/8. Parked along the B6013 in small off road space. Not the nicest road to walk along heading North to the Trig, very busy narrow lane. Climbed over metal gate on roadside and eventually found the trig in the hedge line. Spent some time looking for this one. All metal work intact. good views to the West.

Parked car at heage windmill, short walk to trig, 2nd try for this one mised it five yards last time, it was just visible it took me about 15 minits to cut it back, nice and sunny views not to good

approached from heage windmill on foot along the road,not a good idea,hardly any verges to walk along so took my life into my own hands!hopped over 2 gates and found it instantly thanks to previous logs,really loved this trig,despite having no views,theres something exciting about finding buried trigs,youve got to enjoy the chase!!

Even though I knew exactly where to look I couldn't find it. Lesson: don't go looking here in late summer. At least I scoffed some good blackberries. A bit of a shame as this one registered as my 500th log entry. But allowing for trigs that have been destroyed, and other waifs and strays that are not pillars, I suspect my pillar count is stll below 450.

Walking with mate, Tracker Dog, round Crich and did this trig as a drive by on road N out of Heage. Just managed to park in front of gates to fields, nip over right hand gate and follow hedge towards telephone pole. Trig is well within hedge just before the pole, facing east. Views are on the other side of hedge to Crich, but can't see trig from that side now...only just found out on this website there is a FBM S of Matlock: anyone know why they are not marked on OS maps?

Road walk from Morley Hill turning into really nice evening after rain.Past windmill into open gate on left side of road,over gate on right trig in edge on left crowned with ivy,good views,back to road off to Upper Hartsay.

Followed in the footsteps of CURRYSCRIM and planned a walk from Heage to include The Plantains, Upper Hartsay and Morleyhill Farm also passing Heage windmill and Morley Park ironworks. Good views towards Crich.

Parked at white gate, jumped over the gate saw the pole from the photo had to jump another gate and then reached into the hedge to bag this trig.

Buried in the hedge had to look or this one,v limited parking in gateway,consecutive flush with Upper Hartshay.{just read earlier logs and seems have had an easier time than some thanks for earlier effort to clear it a bit !}

Only 30m from the lane but a nightmare to find. It took me half an hour to spot it in the middle of the hedge (10 ft thick) and then another half hour to cut my way to it. I've learned! Take some cutters! Good condition, with original plug, once revealed. Private

Spent ages looking for this one. It is exactly where it should be (not at the highest point) but, now that the hedge is in leaf, the pillar is totally hidden. In good condition. Flush Bracket can be viewed after removal of nettles. Gloves recommended to examine anything else!
