Didn't fancy the roundabout parking as had the wee one. Parked ythe other side on Thornton Rd. Gateway had bike lock so guessed no one coming anytime soon. Gateway wide enough to get car in. Walk up field edge as old tree lined gully wet under foot. Trig beside water troughs still.

In 1947 this marker was computed for triangulation as tertiary station NS77/T60 in the Glasgow secondary block. The flush bracket was levelled for height in 1967. This trig point was last maintained by the OS in September 1971. Spider has a replacement but genuine OS centre cap which has raised lettering. The flush bracket is numerically the earliest non primary trig pillar in Secondary Block NS77. BsM flush bracket with S above the number. On grazing land. GRP 1/08/1990.
