Quick road side log on route from Titterstone Clee hill heading to Brown Clee hill. Parked at the metal gate near the Besom farm entrance and picked our way up through a very muddy field. Trig looked in excellent condition. All meat work intact Views across to the North. Done with nozzer.

I imagine the view is decent...today less so.. running out of Salopian trigs now... A very mucky gateway. The pillar can be seen from.. but youve gotta be brave and transit the quagmire to get to it.

Parked opposite the gate next to a farm building.short walk from the road through a gate, Somme training ground, very muddy. Chatted to the farmer who had been metal detecting, field was once a market, he had found some Ironbridge 'tokens'.

Parked at field entrance, short distance on PROW through a wet, muddy pasture to trig located near weather station. Pillar in good condition with smooth screed finish; exposed base with attendant moat; original cap in place, deeply indented lettering; 1 sight hole open. Brown Clee and Titterstone Clee Hills prominent to N and SW respectively, but views extensive in all directions..

A FB number to match the year! No mud whatsover (but it was 85 degrees at the time). Overshadowed by Brown Clee Hill rather than being a good view of it. Bit of a haul up but now a good whizz down towards Bridgnorth.

This must be one of the easiest trigs above 300 metres (1131feet to be exact), just 30 yds or so from the road. Plug with heavily indented lettering.
