Next to low square brick structure. Drove all way down metalled track/Road. Once back in my car and doing further research farmer on Quad bike stopped to ask what I was doing. Perfectly friendly curious enquiry. Told him about the trig and how they worked and that I was on my way to an annual hill baggers meal in Shifnal. We had Quite a long interesting chat.

Parked on Shellow Lane. Crossed the road and walked down the public right of way/lane. The pillar can be found behind a square stone tank in the field next to Little Tidnock Farm. Close to where I parked on Shellow Lane, there is a cut benchmark on the wall of Foxbrook Farm on the side facing the road. There is also a cut benchmark on the west face of the tower at the nearby church of Christ Church, Eaton

Parked in a large lay bye on the main road and walked along the road then the bridle path/ lane to Little Tidnock Farm. The very nice lady at the farm gave us permission to visit but don't quiet understand why we wanted too. Best advice is to drive to the farm (lot safer then walking from laybye) ask to visit, trigpoint is in full view off the houses and noisy dogs.

5/7 Trig bagging on way back to Sheff after dropping Aussie bound son at M'chester airport. Asked at bungalow and bloke said it was no problem, trig is by small enclosed reservoir with view of Jodrell Bank in one direction and hills in other.

Parked off A536 and followed the bridleway. Over the barbed wire fence and headed for the tank behind which the trig is hiding. This bridleway is tarmac and if you were cheeky, could drive most of the way.

Parked car in lay by South of the bridlepath Tidnock Lane start on the Congleton Road. Path as a private road sign? Walk on path to just passed the enterance of Little Tidnock farm half way up hill passed trees under fence headed South towards small building. Trig in good condition on private land over looking farm!

Parked in wide junction opposite bridleway which although marked as private road, could provide access for a quick dash. Trig is nestled flush against low concrete/brick building, fence is quite low, so access easy.

I parked in the layby on the main road and walked up the private road. I took a photo from afar and then went up to the farm and gained permission to walk to the trig point through the field to take some closer photos.
