Lovely stone-build pillar sitting within a shelter cairn at top of this impressive hill. Pillar has suffered the ravages of time and weather; the top section with spider is no longer fixed to the pillar although an original centre cap is retained, and there are some loose stones in the construct. Rear sight hole open. Extensive sea- and landscape views over Harris, Lewis and surrounding islands.

Stone built pillar - very mossy on all side faces - cracks in top screed & two loose stones at top of NW face. Excellent views - could just make out St Kilda.

Great hill, but the pillar has seen better days. Its stone built, but the top course is now loose and perched on the rest of the pillar without mortar.
