All good - though the plug is non original, and another pillar bagged that has been touched by the hand of Vegibagger.

This trig is within the grounds of a military firing range, strange no-one else mentioned that fact! Ok its not that bad the trig is behind a fence [see photo] and there is a sign [see photo] The OS map shows "Danger Area" and "Ranges" which I believe is the mound with a green roof in my first photo

The Sign Please read this before you visit the trig

My local trig, wow all the gorse has gone, what a total change for this trig in ten years. From not being able to find it at all because it was entirely surrounded by 10 foot high gorse, to the south facade being revealed after friend who makes orienteering maps mentioned to MOD that it coudn't be found or seen and they broke down and pulled away the southern gorse, but now all the gorse been cleared away and fresh plantings of new sapplings all over the area around it. Differing stage sets for the drama of this trig's life.

Easily visible during the winter though its a risk jumping over the fence and covering the 10m, whilst the red firing range flags are flying.

A triumph for modern technology. Visited three/four times before and couldn't find. A new GPS and its first outing. It says I'm 1.6 ft from trig and although I cant see it its right ! Trig is covered in bracken and invisible. I cleared it so its now easily visible from road. This trig on the last day of 2003 completes Landrangers 105 and 106.
