From the A823 took a track for Greenbog Wood heading to the back of the forest big mistake lot of the tracks were flooded and lots of tree felling in place. Pillar itself has suffered some damage now leaning to one side and chipped in the top corner and in the middle of a lot of tree stumps. Continued on the track down to the reservoir building and on to the road behind Gleneagles Hotel a lot easier

Tullibardine distillery is Scottish distillery since 1949, producing a single malt whisky. The whisky distillery is located in Blackford, Perth and Kinross, close to the Ochil Hills and the Danny Burn, their main water sources. The distillery was mothballed in 1995 by then owner Whyte & Mackay. In 2003, it was sold to Tullibardine Distillery Ltd, who resumed production. In 2011, the distillery was sold to the French firm Picard Vins & Spiritueux. This firm in 2013 creates an entity for the spirits named Terroirs Distillers. The distillery produces several types of single malt whisky, including "Aged Oak Edition Single Malt Whisky" and "Sherry Finish Malt Whisky", and related liqueurs. Tullibardine Distillery runs a visitor's centre.

#282 P#207 P2016#7. Parked beside new house and followed track. Then went through a firebreak in trees which took me to a gate and on to the correct track. Then a quick spot of the pillar.

First visit. To record FB number. HISTORY: Pillar completed 22nd October 1950 costing 17.2s.11d. Computed for triangulation as secondary triangulation station NO02/25 in the Perth block during 1951. Levelled for height in 1955. Last maintained by the OS in March 1981. SITE VISIT: Trig pillar in good condition. Spider retained OS centre cap (11/07/1995) with raised lettering - unusual in a trig as old as this. IRM & RHW both confirm that this spider cap has since been stolen, leaving the centre open. Pillar not in a wood. Mysterious flat heather clad area.
