Cap missing. BSM Type. Not visible from road but located in hedge just before gap in hedge approx where double dashed white mines at junction meet the verge. Cut back vegetation.fieldside to reveal FB

The interest is all in the hunt. Even though the map shows the trig is at the roadside, we would not have found it if other baggers hadn't said it was totally engulfed in the hedge. Eventually we located it from the road with a walking pole and then entered the field to clear away enough vegetation to actually see it! Condition impossible to confirm at this time of year as it can't all be seen but what can be seen is 'good'.

Parked on the road opposite the pillar, which can be found in the hedge surrounded by barbed wire on the field side. The cap is missing from the spider

Give this plus points as it gave an excuse for exploring the Vale of Clwyd after a visit to the Foel Fenlli Marilyn. Beautiful Winter's day of silver and blue skies and golden clouded blue skies before the moon takes over. Friendly woman allows us a visit to her pig family up the road, also recommend the carrots from the farm shop!

Parked at 3 way road junction. Gate into field. Pillar in good condition but cap missing and road side view completely covered, luckily FB field side. Still reasonable views from head height. Spoke to farmers wife who didn't mind me removing ivy from pillar but not hedge. Informed me lucky still there as caravan went through fence couple of meters to side and asked about its purpose. Cleared front.

this is overgrown by the hedge and nettles. however it is road side of the fence so if the foliage dies down or is removed it will be accessible.

Had been to this one before in pitch black darkness my gps was 7 metres out and couldn't find it!On the revisit my mate found it easily at the end of the hedge, checked gps again and it lead me to the same wrong spot trig ok no plug good view of moel frammau.

FB can be accessed if you use the gate a few yards down the road to get the back of the hedge where it's not quite so dense

Very wet September day. Found it in the middle of a thorny hedge. Only just managed to touch it but its still there. Could not confirm its condition. Easy roadside trig just at a road junction.

We were staying at the farm house that this trig was located. Easy find as it is right on the road, covered in thorn bushes so very prickely. Trig in good condition, cap missing. Farm house is wonderful and great value for money too.

Buried in new growth from hedge. In shorts an T so just checked condition. Walked over from excellent camping 2kms away (Minniford?) £4.00a night and friendly.

I was climbing some of the Marilyns in the area so took a break between numbers 2 and 3 to track this trig down. Finding it wasn't easy! I found navigating the local roeads difficult and eventually got out f the car and took a GPS reading which told me it was 5 meters away - hiding behind the hedge.

Nicely hidden from the eastern approach but very visible as you walk closer. Concur on the missing S but if you look closer its actually hidden in full view between the B and M.
