First visit of the day and easy to find. Parked alongside the track blocked off with heavy tree stumps centre plug missing condition fair considering the position and open to dumping. but happy to say none there now

(2094) Parked up near the houses at the top of Ned Lane, and walked back to the pillar. Rural-ish area on the outer edge of Bradford that unfortunately is very run down and litter/fly-tipping blighted. A shame. Pillar is situated at the start of a public bridleway leading to Black Carr Woods, so an easy one to bag. In reasonable condition, though the centre cap is non original and has been filled in. Pillar history: Built on the 11th of August 1947, at a cost of £5 13s 3d. Last maintained by the OS in June of 1986.

Roadside at entrance track into Black Carr Woods. Given the fly-tipping/rubbish in the vicinity it's definitely best approached as a run or walk from Pudsey/Fulneck and through the woods.

Easy enough to bag just off the roadside at the start of a PROW, sadly it sits in a fly tipping hot spot, Trig surprisingly in good condition but not the best trig I've visited by a long way

The pillar stands guard at the junction of the permissive path to Pudsey from Tyersal Gate; it's in good condition and despite the flytipping, a very nice pillar to visit. I parked up on the lane and was up to the trig and away within minutes.

A strange spot of the grubby throb of the Bradford ring road lies this lost little wildness. "Exciting" developments crouching nearby. Plenty of wild flowers and a fine gathering of brown snails have adopted the trig. Will come back for photos next time I go back to Salts Mill.

Easy to get to just don’t get too close as it seems to me a urinal for the locals and dogs. Plenty of broken glass around but the views are great

Parked close to the trig on the corner of Ned Lane followed the Bridleway signed Black Carr Wood stepping over a dumped mattress and sundry other rubbish the short distance to the trig which is in good condition with a filled cap one open sight hole the FB faces 265` a sad spot

There is space for one car about 10 yards from the trig, unfortunately for me red van man was in it so I had to approach from the estates, which is not ideal. Pillar directly on right of way though and in good condition for the urban location. Murky day, no views because of that.

Revisit after a decade. Rough-surfaced pillar. Other than the paint splashed on the top and now peeling off, the trig was in surprisingly good condition given its urban location - no graffiti.

We decided to venture forth from our base in Pudsey for a little trigpointing foray on a dismal Bank Holiday Monday afternoon. Located this one by OS map and TomTom. Pillar was being minded by a friendly horse.

A lovely walk from Beaulah Farm along the Leeds County Way. I have seen a few built up areas around trigs today and this one is getting close to Bradford. I'll give it 20 years.

Not much to report on this one, urban sprawl - at the end of a dirt track coming up from Pudsey Beck/Woods, bagged nontheless. Revisited 3 years & 1 day later simply for the photo. And again May, June, July, Aug 2008 and umpteen times since. One of my most visited trigs as its on a local route that I do if if Im strapped for time, money or simply fancy a last minute walk I havent already arranged. On the route I usually choose I really dont HAVE to visit the trig, but on most occasions I do go out of my way to visit it, simply because ITS THERE. Usually a 12 miler from home to Pudsey bus station but sometimes a 20+ if I decide to return on foot.No cars, on foot.
