Uphill along residential road, at entrance to nature park, seemed like a good place to stop. Pillar not obvious. Checked on here. As suspected, in the garden of the house on the east of the drive. Large dogs as mentioned by others were there barking. As it happened, the owner was outside. Called over and asked if would be ok to look at the pillar. Most obliging. Said he just needed to shut the dogs inside the other part of the garden. Very kindly let me in to take pictures. Unfortunately the FB is right against the fence, three layers of wire which have trapped lots of debris. Cleared away much of it but still very awkward to get a clear picture of the flush plate. Good condition, no views. Thanked the owner, who asked what the attraction is. Tried getting a picture from the footpath on the south but annoyingly obscured by the fence and trapped debris. Mr Mercator 2003 has taken good pictures, how area has changed!

Tucked away behind a wire fence in someone's garden it would appear! Almost missed it.

I have been to this in the one summer (not logged ) and it is quite hard to see due to the plants by the fence. In the winter it is visible behind the fence. As you walk down the PRoW from the drive to the car park it is only a few metres on the left.

Pillar in garden behind wire fence. Footpath runs right past it. Be aware of 3 huge rotty type of dogs that guard this property. they gave us the fright of our lives. Pillar looks in good condition with FB facing the footpath. Photos not brilliant. No views

Easy nip over to this one, located against fence in garden touchable form path Pillar good condition. FB facing out.

A second green mesh fence is now there making access from the FP more difficult. Being short, I had to jump to touch the trig but was able to hold my GPS directly over the pillar to log its position. No one answered my ring on the doorbell on the house gate.

A 14th birthday treat for Miss Cipollini. Can't understand why she wasn't more excited. TP in private garden but right by f/p. An unexciting location and TP a little forlorn - old flaking white paint - but original metalwork.

Fairly uninspiring location with Trig in reasonable condition. FB difficult to view due to close proximity to fence and undergrowth. Spider intact. Ordnance Survey website shows computing year as 1947 and elevation at 46.62 metres (152.95 feet).

This one is in someone's back garden, and while we were logging it, the owner asked us what we were doing, so we explained. She confessed that she didn't really know what it was, so we explained that too, and warned her that she'd probably have other visitors. As other loggers have noted, it's right next to the footpath with the FB visible - behind chicken wire. Once painted white. Metal plug with lightly indented lettering.

My GPS had a bad day so the grid ref may be more my GPS being wierd than the pillar being in the wrong place.

Easy to find, could see it without getting out of the car, a few yards from the road in the park. Just on private property, but right next to a path.
