GPS indicates N edge of slip lane, not that I stood on the spot! Consistent with 25k mapping. Road in cutting hence trig will have been a few m higher. OS say Dest 07/68. Walked in from S, bonus benchmark on Wardley Grange nearby

Missing. Drive-by on the southbound slip-road from Jn 15 M62 west-bound leading to A580. Co-ordinates coincide with edge of slip road, so it counts as being a drive-by. Little other chance of approaching this point. Pete got a picture of a crash barrier by way of a gesture!

Worked in Altrincham fur 6 months in 1978....Had it not been for this website is never have even known of its existence. Would like to know how many times I've driven over site!!
