On the OS Landranger 186, there are three pillars in the column or easting number 72. Third of the three visited today. This one is marked as being beside a footpath and remarkably it is, and easy to see. Not in a hedge or on the other side of a ditch or overgrown with brambles. Extra points for that. Reasonable views to the south.

Parked at the end of Warren lane and walked back up the road. Trig can be easily spotted from the road and accessed via a bridleway

Visited this trig after visiting The Pub With No Name nearby, aka The White Horse, Priors Dean. Trig was in good condition with original metal cap, left sighthole open, all other sightholes closed. I left a 2p coin in the left sighthole for the next visitor to find.

The first of 25 trigs bagged on our SE England tour, the purpose of which was to bag all the HuMPs, Marilyns and County Tops in the SE of England over a 6 day period (trigs are bonus bags). A wet start to the holiday, full waterproofs on. Trig is located on an open field boundary 50m from a minor road on a public row. Pillar is in good condition, nothing much to speak of in the way of views. Bagged en-route to the HuMP, Wheatham Hill.

Trig located along walking route with friends on a 'Panto Plodders' weekend. Pillar was found to be in good condition within a cultivated field by a footpath.

Second trig on a walk on a gloriously sunny winter's day. From Oakshott (plus its trig - Wheatham Hill) via Hawkley. Slap bang on a public footpath across a arable field, couldn't have missed it if we tried. Good condition and some views south to Butser Hill.
