Easy cycle up tarmacked path. I will say that this is Slightly Damaged because of rectangular hole that has been made for the plaque dedicated to Baby Connor McCabe to be inserted into it. Otherwise all fine. Lovely views up hear of the harbour and beach. Saw a bloke taking a picture of the trig, as well, so asked if he was another trig hunter. He seemed very put out and said, "no err no no." Last trig for today. now to explore Bournemouth.

Short bimble up on wide asphalt grockle path from large car park 1/4mile to the W. Base of pillar encased in said asphalt. Cap missing, no plug; RHD side sight hole open. 1994 memorial plaque recessed into screed on LHD side. Fair bit of a white paint job remaining. Extensive seascapes, Christchurch harbour also prominent.

Done whilst walking from Christchurch to Bournemouth with the East Stsffordshire ramblers on a very warm day so did not have time to linger. A bonus as I had not got the relevant OS map. No idea what the mast-like structure on the top is for.

Old Man's significant birthday, and a visit to satisfy his habit of going to the seaside on such days. Spectacular 360 deg views on a wonderfully sunny day; excellent walk around the perimeter of the Head. No cap or plug and W s/hole open but otherwise good condition.

Found whilst out finding a virtual and earthcache nearby. The trig is painted white and has a memorial on one side. Elevation was 73ft (according to my 6yr old).

Was here with a geography field trip so didn't want to look strange by taking a picture of it but, when i got to it there was a 1 meter orange pole screwed into the spider and then tied to the rings. At the the bottom of the hill there was a group of people standing in the marsh with a theodalite (sorry if the spelling is wrong)survaying the area so i assume it was involved with them. Pictures would have been nice.

Just to clarify things (again); the T:UK database is not in error: Warren Hill is the official OS designation of the pillar (FB S2569) on Hengistbury Head. Hengistbury Head is the official OS designation of an unremarkable Rivet in Southbourne.

Fantastic views from up here - came to do the cache and hadn't even realised there was a trig here, so that was a nice bonus! As other loggers have said, the top plug is missing and there's an interesting memorial plaque on one face.

A coastal view on one of the better parts of the coast. nice walk from car park 60p for an hour but free parking slightly further away. no bikes up to the trig

This was our hundredth trig!!! Painted white, and in good condition overlooking Christchurch Harbour to the north and Southbourne to the west. Set on Hengistbury Head. There's a plaque to Baby Connor McCabe 29.10.94. Missing plug.

Found this pillar when searching for nearby Geocaches. Its location is N50 42.943 W001 45.617, elevation shown by GPSr was 97 feet. The centre circular piece on the top is missing - see photo. There is also a small memorial plate attached to the north side of the pillar - see photo.
