Parked at Watergrove Reservoir and took the bridleway. Some of the paths branching off did not seem to exist but made a fairly direct line to the trig. A tricky wall had to be crossed but otherwise access OK.

An evening walk incorporating Birch Hill, Watergrove trig, before heading back via Brown Wardle Hill. I tried to approach from the footpaths to the south but there was a private land sign on one, others didn't seem to exist. Eventually ended up cutting over to the reservoir land and making my way around on the open access. Some nice views up here.

Relatively easy to get to. There is no clear path off the bridle way, but from the bridle way you can get over the wall via a stone style at SD91838 17793. It's then a short treck up to the trig, which is at the base of the pylon.

The best access is from the PRoW to the east of the pillar, an out and back. The recent tourist attraction of my town is gifted all 4 pillars today. A week ago a Lidl opened its doors, the town was buzzing for days.
