Parked in the widened section of road at the bottom of Duncryne Dumpling Trail and followed the path up. Fairly easy trail, with great views over Loch Lomond for relatively little effort. Quite a grey day, so unfortunately wasn't able to see Ben Lomond in all it's glory.

Parked in the large lay-by at the start of the dumpling trail which leads all the way to the trigpoint. Bit muddy today in February but an easy short walk albeit quite steep in places. 40 mins there and back. Great views over Loch Lomond, Ben Lomond top was covered in cloud today but would be amazing views on a clear day.

Duncryne, known locally as the Dumpling, is a tiny hill of only 465 feet above sea level. However, the very short ascent gives a reward out of all proportion to the effort, revealing a fantastic view of Loch Lomond, dotted with its many islands and backed by the great mountains of the Southern Highlands. The top cap is missing but overall the trig is in good condition.
