Parked on road to south east of hill, to north west of the hospital, opposite start of footpath heading up onto the hill. Over stile with one step missing, open ground, started off on south side of hedge line which then ran parallel to a footpath on the north side of the barbed wire fence. Over fence and continued to head uphill but then passed a strip of grass about ten metres long to south of path where pillar was situated. Below highest point of ground. Raised S prefix. Cap missing. Partial views to south.

Walked down the Cotswold Way from Kelston Round Hill - a very enjoyable walk, as it was mostly downhill. Stunning views en route to trig; less spectacular from pillar itself, which appears to have its own little branching path leading up to it. Nice touch.

Parked at edge of modern estate, walked in past children's playground. Footpath sign halfway along trees leads to gate and beginning of steep climb to trig. Glad it was dry but can see the ascent would be a bit "technical" in the wet. Good views

I walked up here as part of a geocaching trip. The trigpoint is part of a puzzle cache. A slightly slippy climb along the very beginning of the Cotswold Way footpath. Not much of a view in the gloom today.

Parking ESE on the road, then easy stroll up right of way, Weston Pillar located in fenced off area and is in good condition, views over Bath, from here along the Cotswold Way to Kelston Round Hill, nice evening walk, sunset watched from the pillar, good condition. Nice little walk with some great views.

Visited this and Kelston Round Hill on a short circular walk from Bath. All 4 top edges of pillar are chipped and cap is missing (no plug), therefore have classified it as 'slightly damaged'. 3 sight holes open. Good views over Bath, but not as extensive as from Kelston.

Continuing on from my walk from Lansdown Road Race course, via Kelston Round Hill trig. Very sensible fencing allows access to the trig, and the views down from it, without having to climb over anything. Continued the walk down into Bath afterwards to meet family before taking the bus back up to the Park and Ride. Lovely. Me 121m

Managed to park on Penn Hill Road. Short steep walk up the Cotswold Way. Much better view of Bath and down the Avon valley from the pillar side of the barbed wire.

Park in Penn Hill Road and followed the Cotswold way footpath across a playing field up the hill to the trig, trig on the wrong side of a barbed fence which needs to be jumped, well worth it excellent views across Bath.

Thought I would be clever and park up at Pendean Farm to the N of this trig and split a walk here with a bike to its neighbout sadly the only parking is amongst the houses to the east meaning a 50m extra climb on the bike and a push along the FP to this trig. Great views though of Bath

As I was at the start of an eight-day backpack I did not climb over the fence to visit the pillar, but it is clearly visible from the Cotswold Way path that runs on the other side of the barbed wire fence.

Third trig on an extremely wet day so couldn't summon up the enthusiasm to climb the barbed wire. Trig looked in good nick but cloud down so no longer views. However all is not lost as we have now started the Cotswold Way from the other end so will return in due course.
