Parked on a minor road at Lower Cotts off the A4103. Walked NW along a greatly widened and enhanced public row that is now capable of taking very large vehicles (to service the apple orchard?). Footpath then takes a U-turn proceeding up the hill through Rough Plantation onto White Hill (a HuMP). Paths a little misleading here but not too difficult to find the trig in a fenced off area on the reservoir hump and next to a comms mast. Views to the north are quite extensive, but woodland blocks any other direction. Pillar is in good condition. We returned to the car by taking the public path due east directly down the hill.

However, the plug has a concrete replacement, otherwise the pillar is in good shape with traces still of white paint. The west-facing base has eroded somewhat. Good views to the north and east but the mobile-phone masts don't exactly help the ambience of the place!
