Our 11th Trigpoint found! A delightful walk up the hill in a near enough straight direction from where we parked the car at the old toilet block. Climbed the fence after crossing the stream and started to follow the feint pathway up. Weather was gorgeous for February, warm and hardly any wind - until we got further up. A steep incline at points making it tough on the legs but well worth it. Probably the most grueling physical slog we have had to find a trig. Kept on ascending and just when we thought we were getting to the top we noticed there was yet another incline. Finally reaching the last section after a few stops on the way up we saw in clear sight the Trig at the top. What a feeling of achievement to finally see it! Another wee walk and we were up on the peak of the hill next to the Trig. Fantastic views all round. The trig is certainly on the very peak of the hill! Great day!
