2 of 3 today, parked at entrance to Sports field and found trig has been moved to a position in a thick hedge behind the clubhouse (New W3W location is ///remain.connector.cardinal), pilar is in very poor condition and surrounded by Ivy and brambles but it is still recognisable as a trig pillar, no FB, Spider or plug and plenty of damage to the top.

Cleared most of the ivy from it in its position behind the pavilion, no brass plate or spider , 1 very Ill trig :(

Don't get much easier than this. Just behind the pavilion in the hedge. Played on this field against Wick many times. Now returning in my new "sports" career of trig logging haha. Logged as slightly damaged due to almost becoming at one with nature haha.

After the hardwork of those who found the location of this pillar and removed the undergrowth it turned out to be one of the easiest ever visited. Admittedly it was partially covered in ivy and the top was quite battered but otherwise looked fine; indeed somewhat distinguished!

No spider & no flush bracket. Also getting very overgrown again. Didn't have the wherewithal to clear it. How are you fixed for an annual maintenance contract, Jon ?

Replaced 1972 by Buried block, so the OS say. I take it they removed the FB - leaving an impressively large cavity. N side of hedge, S side of pavilion. Good work jonglew! My 6193rd extant pillar. Path from N with cut BM on porch of church .

Well found Jon Glew and well gardened too! As I wandered up the track I saw the club house was being used by a group of ladies for a meeting. They must have wondered what I was doing sulking around the back. I gave them a friendly wave.

OS recorded this pillar destroyed 44 years ago, but, like all good things, sees the light of day once more. Located at rear of Wick Sports Pavillion on NW side of the hedge, approx 100m WSW of it's original location. FB gone, spider gone, top damaged, all sight holes open. Had a good covering of ivy and bramble, all cleared away. Sitting quite tall on its foundations, didn't immediately recognize it.

Parked by the school followed the footpath past the windmill into the open playing field.... GONE

Walked up the footpath from the main road and then realised that the grid reference was in the playing fields so hopped over the fence and stood where the trig point used to be getting wetter by the minute. Exited the playing field by the more conventional route. The place looked felorne today - even the dugout had blown over.
