Parked on Husum Way. Crossed over the Birmingham Road and climbed over a gate into the trig field, where the pillar can be found in the hedge on the eastern side. The cap was missing, so I replaced it

Followed the paths around the fields after grabbing a cache nearby, parked at Hurcott Nature Reserve, pillar buried in the hedge and protected even at this time of year by brambles.

Lots of barbed wire about and private signs but lots of dog walkers doing their thing. So followed them.

As I wasnt able to get access to TP7023 and this trig wasnt far out of my way I decided to bag it. Easy enough, just follow the paths made by all the, very friendly, dog walkers around the fields edge, to it. Standard "trig in the hedge".

Parked on a nearby housing estate and nipped over the fence to the south east. Had a chat with a dog walker before bagging the trig and moving on.

There's a stile into the field at the south west corner so park wherever you can. The fields are well used by dog walkers hence the large amount of s**t about. FB faces west. Plug with heavily indented lettering.

Well into the next hit on the kiddie cluster. no parking on road to east so opted for ousing estate to west then hop over wooden fence. Well worn dog walkers trod around the edge passing to 10ft of the trig. agree on the erosion but no immediate threat.

About 100 metres off A456 in hedge on edge of field which has access via stile. Pillar is intact and in good condition but there is a lot of erosion below its base and it could easily topple in future. Some graffiti. Views of Kidderminster would probably be reasonable on a good day - but today is was very foggy!
