Parked in the Aldi at Shipley and walked back up Leeds Rd. Another pillar destroyed by new housing. Located the house with the double white garage and the Wibsey van outside on Whinney Brow. Bagging a house lacks the satisfaction of a pillar, but I did enjoy the views across Airedale to Baildon Moor and the view up towards a dark, foreboding Idle Hill (yet to bag).

Log #62. (145m). First visit 23/03/10. I returned today to take pics. A 5.4km hike over Idle Moor from Shipley Station via the Wrose Bull PH and Idle Hill Resr to Thackley. Acres of new houses here. Only one dismal view. I agree with MAC.HAWK, odd place for a trig.

I approached the former trig site via High Busy Lane from Westfield Lane. After the second old dwelling the trig would have been down the hill in the field corner. Now new houses as far as the eye can see.
