Parked in a layby by some houses before the Morton Jeffries turning - headed up past the house, did knock but nobody about. Met the landowner up the track, happy for me to bag the trig - pointed the way, job done. Lovely views!

Nicely palindromic. Initially accessed by walking couple of hundred yard West to join the right of way through the churchyard and diagonally across the field before getting to the curving track that led up to the little grassy Hillside. A bizarre and brand new kettle rid landed itself diagonally across the grassy Hillside with some thistles growing up through it and some buttercups and I thought it looked like a sculptural exhibit for the Turner Prize!! One for Chris Watson's birthday Trig Walk of Life series if he was interested in those things at all. Too much of a glass half empty man, to have any interest in such trivial nonsense..!!

Parked on verge at the end of the public road and followed the drive down to the chapel and then followed the footpath signs in the direction of the trigpoint. Trig is not on the footpath so we asked for permission to visit it from one of the farm workers.

Cycled down bridleway that goes through Tack Farm. Didnt see many horses but loads of boxer dogs. Easy walk up from track at base of Windmill Hill. Trig is by concrete tank thing. No signs of a windmill. Now that this is the last of the day, the sun is coming out! Typical!

You can clearly see the pillar from the road to Moreton Jeffries. Cycled up to and visited the church first. Footpath leads from a corner of the graveyard, then looped round back of wood to summit. 6th tick of day on way to stay in Leominster.

The most difficult thing about this trig was finding the footpath around The Farm. We parked at Moreton Jeffries and went through the gate that leads to the chapel and house but then headed through an open gate and joined the footpath just past the farm. The trigs on private land but you are shielded from the farm by trees. Nice views. Plug with heavily indented lettering.

Surprisingly easy to access this, it being not far off a footpath and with no gates or fences to climb. It's all intact with one of those unusual plugs which have deeply indented letters. West sighthole open, the others closed. Quite a bit of white paint visible. It's almost on the summit of a 'tump' with glorious views SW to Hereford and the Black Mountains and E to Malvern. The concrete base is much exposed and deeply undercut on the S/N/W sides. It's near to a Severn Trent installation and the grass around it has recently been ploughed and reseeded. Nice to see a flock of fieldfares in the hedge. Nice spot!
